To: ham-space@ucsd.edu Recently I worked MIR on packet and in the header from MIR they gave RV3DR as the QSL Manager however I couldn't find RV3DR in the 94 Callbook. Does anyone know RV3DR's address? Thanks very much. This was my first space QSO and was extra special because my family was able to go outside and visually sight it as it passed over the Seattle area! 73, Mike K7NPN mpickard@netcom.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 8 Jun 1994 12:42:36 GMT From: ihnp4.ucsd.edu!swrinde!howland.reston.ans.net!EU.net!uknet!demon!news@network.ucsd.edu Subject: RV3DR MIR QSL PATH? A mast mounted preamp is necessary for the 70cm downlinks. The PRO-2006 is my *only* dowlink radio. I have made several mods to it which allow me to demodulate 1200 psk and 9600 fsk. It can be made to do automatic doppler compensation on the 9600 baud sats. I have worked oscars 16,18,19,22,23&25 with it and have been quite pleased. If you get to the point that you want more technical details just let me know. Bruce , N4USH -- Bruce M.
